PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII D SMP NEGERI 7 PALU PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN GARIS LURUS

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Palu pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Jenis peneilitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart yang terdiri atas empat komponen, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) pengamatan dan 4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Palu berjumlah 20 orang yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dan dipilih tiga orang sebagai informan. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data aktifitas guru dalam mengola pembelajaran, data aktifitas siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran, data hasil tes awal dan data hasil tes akhir tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe STAD yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi persamaan garis lurus, dengan mengikuti tahap-tahap berikut: 1) penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran dan memotivasi siswa, 2) penyampaian informasi, 3) mengorganisasikan siswa ke dalam kelompok belajar, 4) membimbing kelompok dalam bekerja dan belajar, 5) evaluasi (tes individual) dan 6) penghargaan kelompok.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to obtain a description of the application of cooperative learning model Type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to improve learning outcomes of students of class VIII D SMP Negeri 7 Palu on a straight-line equation material. This type of research was the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The design of this study refers to the model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart who Consist of four components, namely: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection.  The subjects were students of class VIII D Negeri 7 Palu were 20 people enrolled in the academic year 2016/2017 and selected three people as informants. The data collected in this study was data processing activities of teachers in teaching, student activity data in participating in learning activities, the initial test result data and the final test result data action. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model STAD that can improve student learning outcomes in the straight-line equation material, by following the phases of the following: 1) conveying the learning objective and motivating, 2) presenting information, 3) organize the students into groups learning, 4) guide the group in working and learning, 5) evaluation (the test individually) and 6) group reward.
