PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X IPA 1 SMA NEGERI 8 PALU PADA MATERI BARISAN ARITMATIKA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 8 Palu pada materi barisan aritmatika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Hasil yang diperoleh pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 9 siswa dengan presentase ketuntasan 42,86 % dan pada siklus II banyak siswa yang tuntas 11 siswa dengan persentase ketuntasan 78,5 %. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penelitian ini berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan mengikuti fase fase sebagai berikut: 1) menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, pada fase ini guru menyampaikan tujuan pelajaran yang ingin dicapai pada pelajaran tersebut dan memotivasi siswa belajar agar semangat dan serius dalam belajar. 2) menyampaikan informasi, fase ini guru bertugas menjelaskan segala mekanisme saat pembelajaran berlangsung serta menggali pengetahuan awal siswa dengan memberikan beberapa pertanyaan kepada siswa. 3) mengorganisasi siswa kedalam kelompok kelompok belajar, guru mengorganisasi siswa kedalam kelompok kelompok belajar yang terdiri dari siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi sedang dan rendah. 4) membimbing kelompok bekerja, pembimbingan dilakukan oleh guru dengan secukupnya kemudian guru membentuk kelompok belajar baru sebanyak tiga kelompok yaitu kelompok ahli. Setelah diskusi dilakukan di kelompok ahli guru kembali mengarahkan untuk kembali ke kelompok asal masing masing. 5) evaluasi, pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan apabila siswa telah kembali pada kelompok asal kemudian guru memberikan tugas latihan kepada siswa dengan tujuan untuk mengecek kemampuan siswa. 6) pemberian penghargaan, selanjutnya pada tahap pemberian penghargaan siswa guru meminta seluruh siswa untuk tepuk tangan karena telah melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan baik.

Abstract: This study aims to describe improvement in learning outcomes of class X IPA 1 students at SMA Negeri 8 Palu in arithmetic sequence material by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. The results obtained in the first cycle of students were completed as many as 9 students with a completeness percentage of 42.86% and in the second cycle many students completed 11 students with a percentage of completeness of 78.5%. This shows that this study succeeded in improving student learning outcomes, following the phase phases as follows: 1) Delivering goals and motivating students, in this phase the teacher conveyed the objectives of the lessons to be achieved in the lesson and motivated students to learn to be enthusiastic and serious in learning. 2) conveying information, this phase the teacher is tasked with explaining all the mechanisms when learning takes place and exploring students' initial knowledge by giving questions to students. 3) Organizing students into study group groups, teachers organize students into groups of study groups consisting of students who are capable of moderate and low. 4) Guiding groups to work, guidance is carried out by the teacher with sufficient amount and then the teacher forms a new learning group of three groups, namely the expert group. After the discussion has been carried out in the group of teachers the teacher directs them to return to their respective groups. 5) Evaluation, at the evaluation stage is carried out if students have returned to the original group then the teacher gives training assignments to students with the aim of checking students' abilities. 6) awarding, then at the awarding stage the teacher asks all students to applaud because they have carried out the lesson well.
