EFEK LATIHAN BULGARIAN BAG TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN KEKUATAN OTOT PUNGGUNG ATLET GULAT

Abstract

Gulat membutuhkan daya tahan otot punggung di atas rata-rata untuk membantu atlet melakukan bantingan dengan frekuensi yang sangat banyak, karena itu daya tahan kekuatan otot punggung sangatlah dibutuhkan. Untuk meningkatkan daya tahan kekuatan otot punggung dibutuhkan metode dan media latihan yang efektif salah satunya adalah bulgarian bag. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efek latihan menggunakan bulgarian bag terhadap daya tahan kekuatan otot punggung pada atlet gulat. Penelitian mengenai bulgarian bag sendiri masih tergolong sedikit dikarenakan bulgarian bag sendiri masih tergolong baru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan one group pre-test post-test design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet Scorpion Wrestling Club (SWC) sejumlah 10 atlet putra yang diambil menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah  sorensen test. Uji t menggunakan SPSS versi 26 dilakukan sebagai analisis data pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan Bulgarian Bag memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kekuatan otot punggung pada atlet gulat. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan menggunakan bulgarian bag dapat digunakan sebagai pilihan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan daya tahan kekuatan otot punggung pada atlet gulat.
