PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD BERBANTUAN ALAT PERAGA KOTAK GESER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMFAKTORAN BENTUK KUADRAT KELAS VIII SMPN 2 PALU

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan alat peraga kotak geser yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pemfaktoran bentuk kuadrat di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah peneletian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart yang terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemua. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan alat peraga kotak geser  dapat meningkat­kan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pemfaktoran bentuk kuadrat di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Palu mengikuti  fase-fase model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yaitu (1) menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan memotivasi siswa, (2) penyajian kelas, (3) belajar kelompok, (4) tim studi dan monitoring, (5) tes, (6) penghargaan kelompok.

          Abstrack: The aim of this research was to obtain the description of applying the cooperative  learning of STAD aided box slide tools to improve students result learning Factoring of quadratic class VIII SMPN 2 Palu. This research was a classroom action rescarch (CAR). The research design refered to the design of the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that is (1) planning, (2) action, (3) Observation, and (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research result showed that the applying the cooperative learning of STAD aided box slide tools to improve students result learning Factoring of quadratic in grade class VIII SMPN 2 Palu phases following theses steps, as follow (1) conveying the learning objectives and motivate the student, (2) presentation of class, (3) study in group, (4) monitoring and study team, (5) test, and (6) group appreciation.
