Journal of Biology Science and Education (JBSE) with (SK No. 0005.0232/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2013.04), was firstly published for a printed version in 2013 under the previous name, e-JIP BIOL with P-ISSN 2338-1795.

In 2022, with Vol. 10, No. 1, it was changed to the Journal of Biology Science and Education (JBSE) with p-ISSN 2830-5604 and e-ISSN 2962-6803.
