Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of limited face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Ampibabo (2) to describe how solutions in overcoming the implementation of limited face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Ampibabo. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were principals, teachers, and students determined by purposive sampling method. By using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation. The results of the study, concluded (1) The implementation experienced by teachers and students in the implementation of limited face-to-face learning in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic is the shift in school, besides learning at school the teacher also utilizes whatsapp social media, rest time is only 15 minutes, students in the classroom are 20 people, the distance between students and each other has complied with health protocols. lack of parental assistance during learning causes students to lack discipline, student complaints about tasks that are very piled up. (2) The solution to overcome the implementation of limited face-to-face learning in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is that the school applies class shifts so that students do not come to school too much because there are restrictions on students in the class so as to reduce the risk of covid-19 symptoms. teachers are given assistance funds that come from school operational assistance in accordance with government recommendations for purchasing data packages, the WhatsApp application that is presented is very friendly, practical and there are not many steps that must be taken when operating it, the school collaborates with various parties such as the police and health institutions to provide guidance and conduct socialization related to health protocols to all students to implement health protocols properly, teachers do not have to give students a lot of assignments so that they do not feel burdened considering that assignments do not only come from one subject.
