Abstract


This study aims to determine and describe how teachers 'and students' perceptions of the implementation of the 2013 class VIIIA curriculum at SMP conty 1 Siniu. This type of qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects consisted of 1 PPKn teacher and 12 students. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires or questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) Teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the curriculum in class VIIIA PPKn subjects at SMP contry 1 Siniu were categorized as very good. and teachers can provide lessons in accordance with the expected learning objectives. (2) Students' perceptions of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in class VIIIA PPKn subjects at SMP contry 1 Siniu are categorized as quite good, seen from the results of student questionnaires giving positive responses, this is shown by learning PPKn with the 2013 curriculum fun and the methods used can be understood and made students are more active. However, students also gave negative responses because there were difficulties in learning, such as the heavy learning load in the 2013 curriculum.
