Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects, as well as to determine the ability to manage learning by implementing the Think Talk Write Type Cooperative Learning Model in fifth grade students of SDN Inpres Biromaru. This research is a classroom action research. Where each cycle consists of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 18 students of class V SDN Inpres Biromaru. The results of observations of student and teacher activities as well as analysis of student learning outcomes can be concluded that learning through the Implementation of the Think Talk Write Type Cooperative Learning Model improves student learning outcomes in the social studies learning process in class V SDN Inpres Biromaru. Student learning outcomes from the first cycle of action with the acquisition of classical learning completeness is 61.11%. and Classical absorption is 66.11%. and in the second cycle the classical learning completeness is 88.88% and classical absorption is 72.33%. The results of student activity in the first cycle of action I reached 55.55% and in action II it reached 63.88%, in the second cycle there was an increase in action I reaching 75% and in action II it reached 86.11%. While the teacher activity in the first cycle of action I reached 63.88% and decreased by 58.33% in the second action, in the second cycle there was an increase in the first action with a percentage of 86.11% and in the second action it reached 91.66%.
